While Ronak and I were driving through France we got really into the songs we heard over and over again on the radio. From scraps of paper with scrawled names and fragments of lyrics, I finally got around to finding these tracks (some french, some hip-hop, some german alternative rock...) and compiled a soundtrack that will continue to conjure memories of this extraordinary trip.

ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I brought Rachel down to Piolenc I made a couple of CDs' and everytime I hear one of the songs reminds me this trip! Just like when I come across "Mika" reminds me of the summer we all went done there. All very special memories. Nice pics with the map in the background... I like the one were we can see Orange on it (Piolenc is such a small village that there's no way it would have been on it :o)
